【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC16500on“Contours:TechnologyDomain”describesthesystemfunctionsandDAVICtoolsrelevanttotheContoursdefinedinISO/IECTR165001.AgoalofthispartofISO/IEC16500istoguideimplementerstothosepartsofISO/IEC16500whicharerelevantfortheimplementationofthesystemsineachContourandtoshowtherelationbetweenthevarioustools.AnothergoalofthisspecificationistostatewhichspecificDAVICtoolshavetobeimplementedtorealizeinteroperablesystemcomponents.Astheunderlyingtrade-offbetweensystemcomponentcostandservicerevenuemayvaryconsiderably,e.g.,bygeographicallocationandtime,thistrade-offisdeemedtobeoutsideofthescopeofDAVICandhenceamoredetailed“microprofiling”ofthetoolsetneedstobeagreeduponbetweenthevariouspartiesinvolvedwiththerealizationofasystem.AnSTBthatisfullyinteroperablewith,forexample,EnhancedBroadcastServiceswithinacertaingeographicalarea,canbedesignedbyimplementingalldefinedDAVICtoolsusedbytheEnhancedBroadcastServicesinthatarea.Inordertoassisttheabovementionedmicro-profilingactivitytheDAVICtoolsrelevanttoaspecificContourhavebeenstructuredinthefollowingway.AcollectionofDAVICtools(sub/clausesofISO/IEC16500)whichtogetherrealizeacompletesystemfunction(e.g.,thereliabletransmissionofsynchronizedmultimediainformation)aregroupedtogether.Thegroupisidentifiedas“systemfunction”.ForeachofthesegroupsanoverallinformativedescriptionisgivenandatablelistingindetailtheincludedDAVICtools.Forthetoolsdependenciesareindicatedifapplicable.ThefunctionalrequirementsderivedfromtheUser&MarketDomainofacontour(seeISO/IECTR16501)arefullymappedtotheabovelistofsystemfunctions.
