【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardprovidesguidanceonthedesignandexecutionofexperimentsfortheanalysisofthefunctionalexpressionofthegenomicmodification.Itgivescriteriafortheset-upofanexperimentaldesignandthedeterminationofthevalidityofitsexecution.Themainfactorsinfluencingthespecificity,reliabilityandlimitsofdetectionforananalysisaregivenforthefollowingcategoriesofexperiments:—analysisoftheexpressionofagenomicmodificationwithinGMOs(orclonesof)oranyspecifiedpartofthem,includingitsresponsetointernal(developmentalstage,growth,organortissuelocation)andexternalfactors(temperature,humidity,pH,other);—establishmentofidentityofadesiredproductresultingfromtheexpressionofagenomicmodificationincomparisonwithareference;—characterizationofthenoveltrait(s)ofaGMO.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoverproceduresfortheanalysisofpleiotropiceffectsofagenomicmodificationortheactofgeneratingtheGMO(e.g.somaclonalvariation)onthephenotypeofmodifiedorganisms,whichcannotbepredictedfromtheknowledgeofthetypeofthegenomicmodification.However,theprinciplesstatedinthisEuropeanStandardareapplicablefortheexecutionofanyanalysisofgenefunctions.
