【摘要】:1.1Thispracticeevaluatestheresistanceofnonmetallicmaterialstosolarradiationfilteredthroughglass.1.2Fordirectexposures,refertoPracticeG7.1.3Thispracticeislimitedtothemethodofconductingtheexposures.Thepreparationoftestspecimensandevaluationofresultsarecoveredinvariousstandardsforthespecificmaterials.1.4Exposureconductedaccordingtothispracticecanusetwotypesofexposurecabinets.1.4.1TypeAAcabinetthatallowspassiveventilationofspecimensbeingexposedbehindglass.1.4.2TypeBEnclosedcabinetwithexteriorpaintedblackthatallowsnoventilationofspecimensexposedbehindglass.ExposuresconductedusingaTypeBcabinetaretypicallyreferredtoas"blackboxunderglassexposures."1.5TypeAexposuresofthispracticearetechnicallysimilartoMethodBofISO877.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
